JOB SUMMARY:

Under strategic leadership, sustain the improvement of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) and manages the development of quality assurance & systems staff. Utilize the following industry standards to drive high-quality products: Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), International Council for Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH), and International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Facilitate employee relations issues including coaching, mentoring, and disciplining including performance evaluation of employees. Provides strong leadership to motivate, guide and inspire employees to meet the organization’s business objectives with production. Lead the implementation phase of MasterControl, ensuring successful implementation, and post-implementation management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Partners with leadership to develop the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure it is compliant with relevant regulations, including ISO 9001, 21 CFR Part 210 and 211, ICH, and other applicable national and international regulatory guidelines. Ensure the QMS always remains in an auditable state.
2. Oversees the daily operations of the QMS, ensuring it runs efficiently and in compliance with quality standards. This includes managing critical quality systems processes such as Incoming Raw Material Receipt, Raw Material Review/Disposition, Final Product Review/Disposition.
3. Manages quality events and investigations including but not limited to Deviations, CAPA, Change Control, OOS, OOT, Customer Complaints, including leading and facilitating cross-functional meetings to ensure proper assessments and actions.
4. Ensures QA review of Validation/Qualification activities including protocols, execution, and reports.
5. Upholds timely response to events and on-the-floor QA support(MQA), including ensuring the MQA program is tracked and measurable.
6. Leads the transition of QMS programs, such as Quality Events (Deviation, CAPA, Change Control, OOS, OOT), Audits and Supplier Qualification transition into Master Control, and serves as the System Administrator.
7. Administers post-implementation management of MasterControl, including, but not limited to, system optimization, performing troubleshooting support, managing software updates, and continuously improving system functionality to meet evolving regulatory needs.
8. Reports key metrics for QA Operations turnaround times and Quality Events.
9. Contributes to the continuous improvement initiatives related to the QMS, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize quality processes. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for process improvement within manufacturing and quality control activities.
10. Develops standard operations and other quality documents related to QMS and ensure all documents meet regulatory requirements and internal standards.
11. Supervises and develops a team providing guidance, training, and support to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
12. Mentors and develops a team of the QA team, fostering an environment of accountability and growth. Ensures cross-functional collaboration and provide effective leadership managing the QMS processes and ensures effective employee relations.
13. Facilitates training initiatives to ensure that team members are adequately prepared to handle QMS functions and sustain a flexible workforce.
14. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, supporting staff development and efficiency improvements within the quality systems team.
15. Conducts performance reviews for direct reports. Institutes timely corrective actions and interfaces with Leadership and HR in developing disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
16. Administers time-keeping functions to track absenteeism; approves timecards on a bi-weekly basis.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Quality Assurance Associate
2. Quality Assurance Specialist
3. Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist

MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline; and five (5) years’ directly related experience in a Good Practice (GXP) or ISO manufacturing-controlled environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Experience in transitioning from paper based to electronic QMS.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:

1. Working knowledge of pharmaceutical industry concepts, as well as analytical methods and writing skills, including documenting manufacturing processes, a plus. Familiarity in Lean or Six Sigma, a plus.
2. Strong Knowledge of quality management principles and practices, including ISO and cGMP standards.
3. Proficient in the use of quality management software with experience in implementing or managing MasterControl being highly desirable.
4. Experience conducting technical investigations with formal root cause analysis tools.
5. Prior supervisory experience, preferred.
6. Knowledgeable of change control, validation/qualification, and method development and tech transfer.
7. Strong knowledge of formal root cause analysis and risk assessment tools. Ability to lead or facilitate investigations and/or risk assessments.
8. Strong application of critical thinking skills along with problem solving and creative skills to identify manufacturing issues for continuous improvement.

11. Microsoft Office Suite software applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, and other enterprise software applications such as Net Suite, LIMS, and Familiarity with statistical analysis tools.
12. Strong language skills with the ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
13. Write clear processes, manuals and reports for management review and present technical information in understandable terms and respond to questions from groups of customers, employees and/or public.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under limited guidance, responsible for end-to-end general ledger accounting, financial reporting, banking operations, tax compliance, and audit coordination. Leads month-end close activities, performs financial analysis, and supports internal controls while providing guidance to junior staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Analyze accounting transactions including revenue, cash receipts/disbursements, accounts receivable (including allowance for doubtful accounts), accounts payable, inventory, and fixed assets.
2. Prepare and validate journal entries for depreciation, amortization, accruals, expense allocations, interest, and tax provisions; perform account reconciliations.
3. Lead month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
4. Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages (DIVA), including GL data extraction and upload.
5. Process bank transactions (cash collections, disbursements, borrowings, repayments) and perform bank reconciliations.
6. Administer banking activities including wire validation and maintenance of payment templates.
7. Validate payroll journal entries (salaries, taxes, benefits, bonus accruals).
8. Manage cash flow forecasting and accounts receivable aging review.
9. Handle sales and use tax compliance, including reporting, estimated payments, and settlements.
10. Support audits (internal/external), tax filings, and compliance requirements.
11. Maintain and improve chart of accounts and financial data integrity.
12. Lead or support ERP and process improvement initiatives (e.g., Concur, workflow optimization, data quality).
13. Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance financial processes and internal controls.
14. Perform ad hoc projects and analysis.

1. Determine appropriate accounting treatment for transactions in compliance with GAAP and company policies

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent in this position is responsible for all production activities at KLS including, but not limited to, raw material procurement, planning, scheduling, and execution of production. Working with the QA/QC analysts, this position will also ensure all production processes are documented and executed accurately according to ISO and ICH requirements.

1. Negotiate with various suppliers for timely and cost-effective raw material procurement for each production.
2. Maintain an inventory for all raw materials required for production.
3. Plan, schedule and execute the production of loaded NittoPhase® solid supports.
4. Ensure production is cost effective, on time, and performed in compliance with established SOPs and other regulatory requirements.
5. Complete manufacturing documentation per approved procedures and review for completeness and accuracy per established timelines.
6. Be responsible for the selection and maintenance of all production equipment.
7. Work with managers to implement the company’s policies and goals and draft production-related SOPs as needed.
8. Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing the contract lifecycle across the organization, ensuring efficient, complaint, and scalable contracting processes. This role serves as a key business partner to Sales, Procurement, Finance, Operations, Legal and other cross-functional stakeholders to negotiate, draft, review, execute, and administer commercial agreements.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience working in a mature contract management environment and is highly proficient at managing a contract lifecycle management system. This individual will help optimize contract workflows, maintain clause libraries, drive process improvements, monitor key performance metrics, and ensure contractual compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee end-to-end contract lifecycle management processes, including intake, drafting, negotiation, approval routing, execution, storage, renewal management, and reporting. Monitor contract performance, key milestones, obligations, and deliverables throughout the contract term. Follow up on contract renewal and expiration notifications to prevent lapses. Maintain contract repository integrity, ensuring all executed agreements are safely stored, indexed, and accessible.
2. Wide Range of Contracts: Manage a high volume of commercial contracts including sales, purchasing, service, lease, license, non-disclosure, and other business agreements. Establish and maintain contract playbooks and clause libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency. In battle of the form’s scenarios, organize letters of credit, quotes, order acknowledgments, and invoices as needed.
3. Process Improvement and Strategic Initiatives: Continuously evaluate and optimize contract processes to reduce cycle times, improve compliance, and enhance user experience. Maintain comprehensive contracts management policies, procedures, and documentation. Implement standardization and automation opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.

    

    

4. Business Partnership and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Legal, Sales, Procurement, Finance, Operations, and other business functions to facilitate timely contract execution. Communicate contract terms and obligations in a clear, business-focused manner and help stakeholders make informed decisions.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

6. Experience in biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated manufacturing environments.
7. Knowledge/understanding of ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems
8. Demonstrated expertise in managing complex contract negotiations across multiple contract types.
9. Strong understanding of commercial contract terms, legal principles, and risk allocation
10. Experience designing and implementing contract workflows, approval processes, and automation
11. Proficiency in CLM system configuration, including template creation, workflow design, and integration management
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
13. Track record of driving process improvement initiatives and achieving measurable efficiency gains
14. Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Promotes Safety First culture.

4. Manages inventory of parts and critical equipment.

2. At least five years of maintenance/facilities in an industrial and laboratory environment experience required.
3. Extensive knowledge of industrial process equipment and building systems.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to prioritize tasks and to plan and schedule them as necessary.
6. Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed.
7. Ability to plan maintenance schedules.
8. Strong communication skills.
9. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports, logs, and inventory. Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
10. Experience working on an operating site and high hazard site
11. Experience with cGMP and ISO standards
12. Experience reading and commenting P&ID, PFD, and other technical drawings.
13. Self-motivated with strong initiative and drive to succeed. With excellent interpersonal skills, will be able to work effectively in a team and on their own initiative, leading a team as required.
    Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
14. Must be proficient in IT (Office packages)
15. English language
